“Folie à Deux” merupakan album ke-5 dari Fall Out Boy, menyusul kesuksesan album “Infinity on High” yg dirilis thn lalu. Album ini rencananya dirils tgl 4 Nov, dengan cover yg didesain khusus oleh Luke Chueh dan sudah dipublikasikan sejak 13 sep lalu.
Produser album ini adalah Neal Avron dan Pharrell, dan juga beberapa kolaborasi dari Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Panic At The Disco dan Debbie Harry. Wah, kayaknya FOB juga mulai merambah Hip Hop nih…
Sementara itu single pertamanya “I don’t care” juga udah wira wiri di chart2 beberapa radio di Indonesia dan udah dapat request yg bagus dari bbrp pendengarnya.

Ini dia Group Cewek2 asal Los Angeles, Amerika yang kini beranggota 5 orang, yaitu… Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, dan Melody Thornton. Setelah sukses dengan album perdana mereka di tahun 2005 lalu yg diberi judul “PCD” dan laku 5 juta keping diseluruh dunia ini, sekarang mereka kembali lagi dengan merelease album kedua mereka “Doll Domination” tgll 23 Sep.
Dengan masih membawakan musik Pop Dance yang digabung dgn R&B, Hip Hop, The Pussycat Dolls dibantu oleh sederatan Produser top, seperti Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Polow da Don, Sean Garrett, Danja, Ferndando Garibay, Ron Fair, Jonas Jeberg, dan Cutfather. Akhirnya, acara kontes musik terbesar dan tertua yg pernah ada, yaitu Eurovision Contest yang pertama kali diadakan di Swiss thn 1956 dgn lebih dari 40 negara Eropa yg ikutan ini diadaptasi di Asia utk pertama kalinya. Acara ini bakal digelar mulai pertengahan 2009 mendatang dan diadakan di Singapura dengan peserta sementara adalah 16 negara yaitu: China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand dan Vietnam. Ke depannya, target yang ikut adalah lebih dari 30 negara dan lebih dari 500 juta penonton! Yang bikin miris acara yg juga sudah digelar di Afrika Utara dan Timur Tengah ini berlangsung selama 6 bulan, tidak seperti aslinya yg cuman diadakan bbrp hari aja. Wah jadi kayak acara Reality music yg digelar tiap hari di stasiun TV Swasta di Indo dong....

Future Release CD: Keane - Perfect Symmetry
“Perfect Symmetry” merupakan album ke-3 dari Band Piano Rock asal UK yg bakal dirilis 13 okt mendatang. Judul album ini udah diumumkan sejak 31 Juli lalu dan Keane pun juga punya tampilan baru dan menurut Manajer Island Records International, Jon Turner, album yg satu ini bakal sedikit beda dgn 2 album sebelumnya, dan “Spiralling” yg sempat dibagikan gratis bulan lalu merupakan favorite single di US. Tapi akhirnya terpilih “The Lovers are Losing” yg jadi official first singlenya.
Cover album ini udah dirilis tgl 5 Sep lalu dan dibuat oleh Korean artist, Osang Gwon. Di kursi produser, selain Keane sendiri ada Jon Brion dan juga Stuart Price, sedangkan lagunya sendiri kebanyakan ditulis oleh Keane sendiri.

Future Release CD: John Legend - Evolver
Album ketiga dari John Legend akhirnya udah punya jadwal rilis yaitu 28 Okt. Dengan judul “Evolver”, album yg dirilis oleh GOOD Music dan Columbia Records (SonyBMG) ini selain diproduseri oleh John Legend, juga dibantu oleh Kanye West, Will.i.am dan Neptunes.
Termasuk didalamnya ada featuring dengan Kanye West, Estelle, Brandy dan single pertamanya “Green Light” yg menampilkan Andre 3000.
John Legend sempat bilang kepada MTV, "I think it’s hard to find a general theme (for the album). It’s a lot of love and relationship songs, as people probably would expect from me. There’s not an overarching lyrical theme that goes throughout. It’s just a bunch of good songs, I think.".
Hmm, sepertinya album ini emang layak ditunggu2 dan dikoleksi seperti 2 album sebelumnya, jadi tungguin yah jadwal rilisnya!

Album ke-6 dari Girl Band Sugababes ini udah mulai masuk proses rekaman sejak 17 Juni lalu dengan dibantu Jason Pebworth, vocalis Band Orson. Ada juga sederetan Produser Pop terkenal lainnya yg turut membantu Sugababes, mulai dari Dr.Luke, Jony Rockstar, Klas Åhlund, Melvin Kuiters, Si Helbert, Steve Booker. Rencananya album yg diberi judul “Catfights and Spotlights” ini bakal dirilis 20 okt dengan single pertama “Girls” yg rilis 6 okt.
Di album ini, Sugababes tampil lebih dewasa dan juga lebih ‘dark’. Single pertamanya “Girls” mendapat review positif dari berbagai media, walau emang terdengar sedikit kurang catchy, tapi single yg menggabungkan Soul, Dance dan Pop ini terdengar unik dan orisinal.
So, tungguin aja rilisnya yah!
